About us
The New Testament gives a variety of pictures to show us what the church is like: an army, a temple, a bride. All these pictures contain important truths, but the picture we primarily seek to reflect is that of a loving family. We want people to feel at home with God's presence and with each other; a place of safety and security where we can love and be loved. At New Life we love contemporary worship, believe and teach the bible and emphasize a dependence on the Holy Spirit. In all we do we want to focus on the Lord Jesus. We play acommitted role with other churches seeking transformation for Woking through prayer and joint ventures.
The Church offers ministry to children and young people . There are Connect groups and a wide range of activities mid-week.
Local and overseas Missions are a high priority for us. We support a number of local mission , as well as a number of international mission partners. We have a special heart to serve the Jewish people and help them fulfil their prophetic destiny.
As a local church we also run the South Woking Community Food Bank and offer various courses like Alpha, CAP, Kintsugi Hope and Freedom in Christ.
The Church is affiliated to the Baptist Union of Great Britain, the South Eastern Baptist Association and the Evangelical Alliance.
